Kuan Hsieh 謝寬 is a Taiwanese artist and photographer based in Taipei, Taiwan. He moved to New York to pursue an MFA in 2021. Originally trained in photography, Kuan soon expanded his artistic practice to include videography, sculpture, and performance. This shift was driven to explore abstract concepts and the fundamental aspects of human existence.

Kuan emphasizes the significance of technique and craftsmanship. He perceives the physical act of creation as indispensable to his artistic process, realizing his works with a palpable essence that resonates profoundly with viewers. Each piece becomes a medium through which ideas are articulated and emotions are evoked. Kuan's multidisciplinary approach enables him to create artworks that stimulate introspection and dialogue.

As he continues to evolve as an artist, Kuan remains dedicated to pushing the limits of his creativity.
